Adding Travel Approvers in Melon (UK)

If your company uses approval workflows, Melon allows Admins to assign Travel Approvers directly to traveller profiles—helping streamline bookings and policy compliance.

How to Assign a Travel Approver

  1. Go to the Hey Menu and open the Admin Portal

  2. Click the Users tab

  3. Find the traveller and click their line to open profile details

  4. In the designated field, add the Travel Approver

  5. Assign the traveller to the correct User Group

  6. Click Save to confirm the changes


🔁 Additional Notes

  • Travellers can have multiple approvers

  • Once a booking is made, an approval request and email will go to all assigned approvers

  • Only one approver needs to take action to approve or decline the trip


Keeping approvers up to date ensures a smoother booking and approval process for all travellers.
