Method 1: Cancel & Rebook
If you're changing your travel plans, the simplest option is to cancel and rebook.
Step-by-step: Cancel Your Car Booking
Go to My Trips
Open the My Trips tab (or use Upcoming Trips on your home page).
Find the trip with your car hire reservation.
Open the Booking
Click on the car hire segment to view the full details.
Click ‘Cancel Car’
Confirm the Cancellation
When prompted, click Confirm to proceed.
That’s it—your car hire booking is now cancelled!
Now simply run a new car hire search with your updated travel details and book again.
Method 2: Change via Travel Manager
Need to make changes to an existing car hire reservation?
This can’t be done directly in Melon.
Instead, reach out to your Travel Manager, who will be happy to assist with updating your current reservation.
Please note: Whether or not your car rental booking is eligible for changing or a refund will depend on the change/cancellation conditions of your reservation!
