How to Modify or Cancel a Car Reservation

Need to modify or cancel a car reservation for an upcoming trip? Melon allows you to easily manage your bookings in one place.

To cancel a car rental reservation:

1. Login to your Melon account to access the New Trip Search page.


2. Scroll down to the bottom of your search page to see Upcoming Trips, or select My Trips in the top menu of the site

3. Select the trip you wish to cancel.

4. On the trip details page, select the car.

5. On the car details page, select the "Modify Car" button to modify and chat with the Melon team or "Cancel Car", then select Yes to confirm the cancellation.

6. The car rental reservation will now show as Cancelled on the page if other segments (such as flights or hotels) were booked, and will remain in your trip as cancelled for your records.

7. If you'd like to add another vehicle to your trip, simply click the Add Another Car button to begin your search. Once booked, your new vehicle will appear in the same upcoming trip, allowing you to keep all your travel reservations in one place.
