1. Open your booking
Go to your booking confirmation or access the booking through:
My Trips
Upcoming Trips on your landing page
Select the train booking you wish to amend.
2. Select ‘Modify Train’
Click Modify Train to begin making changes to your journey.
3. Choose which part of the journey you want to change
Select the relevant checkbox(es) for the journey leg(s) you would like to amend.
You can then enter:
New travel dates
New departure times
Once completed, click Continue.
4. Review your updated train options
Melon will display any suitable train options available for your updated journey.
Please note:
Available results depend on the original ticket type and fare conditions
Melon will only display options valid for your selected ticket
Select your preferred new option and continue to checkout.
5. Complete checkout
The checkout process works the same way as a new booking.
Any required company travel data, such as:
Cost centre
Project code
Reason for travel
will automatically carry over where applicable.
6. Access your updated booking
Once your amendment is complete:
Your updated booking will appear in My Trips
Your updated itinerary will appear in Upcoming Trips
Your updated tickets will be available to download
Important!
Make sure you download the updated version of your ticket before travelling.
