Melon Reporting: Transaction Detail Report

In this most comprehensive and data-filled report, transactional data is collected parsed, filtered, organised, saved and exported.

The last report on the Dashboard sub-tab is the most useful, most exact, most forward, most accurate, most complete data-repository for everything captured whilst using and transacting on Melon: the Transaction Detail Report.

Access the Analytics page through the Admin Portal, then click on Transaction Detail

At the Top of the Report

INVOICE DATE: Default date range is the past three months.

FILTERS: First up. All (data). You can also Funnel Down for Air, Hotel Car, Fee, or Rail (US)

KPIs: Key Performance Indicator are the pulse check of your program located under the component section.

Your finance team will love the report as it contains invoice numbers, PNR (passenger name records. Everything that they need is contain within to help with any reconciliation.

Take several minutes and scroll through each of the data capture fields (columns) so you can familiarise yourself with what data is available and what kind of reports you would like to generate. Also, by clicking into a Column Header, you can change the direction of what is being display. So change from LOW to HIGH, and do it once more and it will go from HIGH to LOW.

What can you do?

Sorting and filtering to help you drill down further into the data. Also, set up a pivot table and extract the data you need in order to help you assess the health of your travel programme.

You can extract the pertinent data how you need it and when you need it.

Sort all costs per traveller per itinerary;

Total fees according to traveller? Top Fee producer?

Air Only List by PNR with traveller names, itineraries, and costs.

Find the ellipses in the upper right-hand corner and test out one of your creations.

You can sort by any of the fields, or try clicking into the column header and the date will sort from low to high, or high to low.
