Your Melon Analytics Dashboard gives you real-time insights into your company’s travel activity, spend, and behaviour—helping you make smarter decisions at a glance.
🧭 Where to Find It
As an Admin, you'll be taken directly to the Analytics tab when you log into the Admin Portal. The default view is the Overview Dashboard, but you can navigate through several powerful reports from here.
🔍 Key Dashboards at a Glance
Each dashboard gives a unique view of your programme:
Overview – A snapshot of total travel spend and trends by type, class of travel, and advance purchase windows
Top Travellers – See who’s travelling most often and where your spend is concentrated
Missed Savings – Highlights opportunities where cheaper fares were available but not selected
Traveller Safety – Maps current traveller locations and active risk alerts
Upcoming Trips – Shows who is travelling soon, where to, and on what services
Carbon Footprint – Tracks CO₂ emissions by trip type, class, and traveller
Transaction Details – Full financial breakdown, perfect for finance teams
Approvals – View all bookings that required approval, actioned times, and performance by policy
🧰 Tools You Can Use
Filters – Narrow down reports by group, region, date, cost centre, reason for travel, and more (top-left corner - funnel icon)
Drill Through – Hovering on any chart segment will show 3 ellipsis in the top right hand corner - click on this to dive deeper into that data
Export – Click the three dots on any report tile to export to Excel or switch the view to table format
Live Alerts – Traveller Safety dashboard highlights real-time risks via red (critical), yellow (warning), or blue (info) notifications
