As a travel arranger in Melon, you can provide your travellers with a selection of flight and hotel options to chose from for their upcoming trips. Once they’ve selected their preferred options you can quickly confirm and book the trip on their behalf.

How to build a Trip Proposal

  1. Open the Hey Menu and select Trip Proposals.

  2. You will find all of your existing Trip Proposals and have the option to build new ones, simply click the Get started button to begin. You will now need to add the Trip name and Start/End dates to build your proposal.

  3. Once created, return to your Melon Homepage, enter your search criteria then run your flight or hotel search as normal.

  4. On your search results page, select the flight and/or hotel options you wish to send to your traveller(s).

  5. To add an option, click on the bookmark icon in the right-hand corner of the fare or rate. This will open up your existing Trip proposals or you can create a new one - click the required proposal to add it.

Please note: When selecting return flight options, you must first choose your preferred outbound time and fare. Once selected, the option to bookmark will show on the return flight, allowing you to add both legs to your Trip Proposal.

6. Add as many flights and/or hotel options as required and once you're ready

return to the Trip Proposals tab and select the required trip.

7. On the left-hand side click +Add more travellers to select the traveller(s) you

wish to share the itineraries with.

8. Once added, simply select the flight and/or hotel options then click Share with

traveller. You can add a personalised message for the travellers and when

you're ready click Share to send these options to them.

9. Your traveller(s) will receive an email with all of the options and all they need to

do is reply approving the required option(s).

10. Once approved, go back to the Trip Proposals to refresh the pricing by clicking

Check availability.

11. If you are happy to proceed, select the Checkout button and complete the

Checkout process as normal.

BOOM! Your traveller(s) trip has now been confirmed and both yourself and the traveller will receive the email confirmation shortly (dependant on your company configuration).
