Booking a UK Rail Journey is quick and simple - just follow the 11 steps below:

To begin, select the "TRAINS" option in your search window, and enter your desired stations, times and dates and click 'Search'

Once you have found your preferred train option, click on the fare under your chosen class of travel to see all available fares.

You can double-check the change and cancellation conditions by clicking on View fare details.

Once you have identified the most suitable outbound fare option, click "Select" to proceed to the return options. (For a one-way trip, you will be taken directly to the Checkout page).

If applicable, locate your preferred return train, choose the most suitable fare type, and then click "Select".

Ensure that all the details are correct before checking out.

Select how you wish to receive your tickets. The options depend on the stations you're travelling to and from, the most common include E-Ticket (your tickets will be sent alongside your confirmation) and Ticket on Departure (collect a copy of your ticket from the train station using the booking reference provided upon confirmation).

Specify any seating preferences you may have (if available for your journey type).

Review and accept the booking conditions.

Click "Checkout" to complete your booking.
