Most airlines allow online check-in before departure, although check-in windows vary by airline. Depending on the carrier, online check-in may open anywhere from 30 days to 2 hours before your flight.

For the most accurate check-in information, visit the airline's website or mobile app.

How to Check In for Your Flight

To complete online check-in, you will typically need:

  • Your name as shown on the booking

  • Your Airline Booking Reference (PNR)

Once logged in to the airline's website or app, simply follow their check-in process to:

  • Confirm passenger details

  • Select or change seats (where available)

  • Add baggage (if required)

  • Receive your boarding pass

Accessing Your Boarding Pass

After completing check-in, your boarding pass can usually be:

  • Downloaded to your mobile device

  • Added to your phone's wallet (Apple Wallet or Google Wallet)

  • Sent by email

  • Printed if you prefer a paper copy

Check-In with the Melon Mobile App

If you use the Melon Mobile App, you'll receive a notification when online check-in becomes available for your flight.

Simply open the trip within the app and select the check-in link. Melon will direct you to the airline's website or app where you can complete the check-in process.

Once check-in is complete, you can download your boarding pass and save it directly to your mobile wallet for easy access at the airport.

Need Your Airline Booking Reference?

You can find your Airline Booking Reference in:

  • Your Melon itinerary

  • The My Trips section in Melon

  • Your booking confirmation email

This reference is required by most airlines to access online check-in and retrieve your boarding pass.
