Need to change dates for your car rental or cancel altogether? Melon makes it easy to modify your booking in just a few clicks.
To cancel a car rental reservation:
1. Login to your Melon account.
2. Select My Trips tab at the top of the page.
3. Select the trip you wish to cancel.
4. Select the car rental reservation you wish to cancel.
5. Click the Cancel Car button, then select Yes to proceed.
6. The car rental reservation will now show as CANCELLED on the page if other segments (such as flights or hotels) were booked, and will remain in your trip as cancelled for your records.
To change an existing car rental reservation:
1. Follow steps 1-5 shown above to locate the car rental reservation you wish to change.
2. Melon gives you two options on how to change an existing car rental reservation...
If you know the car rental's cancellation policy and haven't passed any cancellation deadline, choose Cancel Car for your current reservation. Afterward, select Add Another Car to create your new reservation.
If you're unsure about the car rental's cancellation policy or have missed the cancellation deadline, choose Modify Car and a chat box will open for assistance from the Melon Chat Team to change your reservation
