Filtering your reports

Within each of your Melon Reporting dashboards can drill down your results and look at specific areas of your data simply by using filters.

These can be found in the top left-hand corner of each dashboard. Click on the funnel icon to access the main filters.

HANDY TIP: The sliding tool (zipper) in the top left-hand corner narrows down your results according to Invoice date range. Or, click right into the date and enter manually.

These filters include:

  • Account name: Sift through results by any divisions or groups

  • Book Country: Filter to see bookings made by specific countries

  • Domestic/International travel

  • Currency: Multi-nationals can pull data reported in local currency

  • Reporting fields: Upload by custom reporting fields

You will then see your data update in the background. When you return to your Overview panel you will find that your data has now been updated according to your filters.

Drilling through the data

Melon Reporting allows you to Drill Through on the tables in your report to find more detailed information. Sorting the data is as easy as a click.

For example, if you would like more information about the Total Travel by Type, you can Right-Click in the chart to access a more detailed report.

Also, you can export the file by locating the ellipsis in the upper right-hand corner and choosing Export.

If you would like more detailed information be sure to check out the full course featuring all Reports.
